Modial Sans

Modial Sans is a versatile, workhorse sans serif font available in multiple weights from Thin to Black. Its design roots draw from typography classics such as Helvetica, Frutiger, and Univers. The goal was to create a kind of anonymous and neutral sans serif appearance, akin to its benchmarks. From the outset, the intention was also to develop a font family that includes sans serif, slab serif, and stencil fonts – all cousins within the Modial typeface family. Ideal for text, headlines, digital, physical, traditional, and experimental uses. Designed by Jaakko Vanto, released in 2024.
